Is their really still something special about being a female scientist in the 21st century??? Yes, it is!
In this new series female e-conversion members talk about their research, their career and in which context it makes a difference being a woman.
Our first interview partner is Dr. Tayebeh Ameri. Since 2018 she was group leader at the Chair of Physical Chemistry and Nanochemistry (Prof. Bein) at LMU München. A main focus of her research lies on the development and characterization of materials for energy applications as photovoltaic technologies. As coordinator of the e-conversion Graduate Program, Dr. Ameri activly supported the upcoming generation of scientists. With the beginning of 2021 Dr. Ameri started as Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.
