The energy quiz at the e-conversion stand attracted little experts.

Playing the banana piano and squeezing a few amperes out of lemons. With these and other hands-on experiments on energy, e-conversion was part of the children’s and youth festival (JuKi) on 24 September 2023. In a quiz, visitors could put their knowledge to the test and win, for example, a handicraft set for a solar car.

For the organizers of the “Werksviertel-Mitte Stiftung Projekt,” it was also a special event, as the JuKi celebrated its tenth anniversary this autumn: almost 100 information stands of non-profit institutions and their partners invited families to join in, learn, and have fun. A colorful program and the best late summer weather attracted several thousand people to the Werksviertel at Munich’s Ostbahnhof.

Those who wanted to see the whole thing from a dizzy height could take a relaxing spin on the Umadum Ferris wheel for a small fee. Radio Teddy got the kids in the mood for dancing. Those who liked it quieter could listen to the stories of the Holledauer Märchenfee.

We will gladly spend energy again next year for such a lovely event with many interested families who enjoy science and experimenting!
