We are looking forward to an informal discussion with Barbara & Emiliano, in which they will share their experience in academic careers and provide personal advice. It´s a great opportunity to get in touch and find out more about the e-conversion graduate program and its offers and support for you as a PhD student.

Time: Tuesday, 09.03.2021 at 05.00-06.00 pm        Zoom-Link: Please contact Clara Aletsee

The event is open for externals.

About Barbara: In her research, Barbara A. J. Lechner investigates dynamic processes that happen at the atomic scale during catalytic reactions. She will talk about her experience as a PhD student and postdoc at prestigious institutions, life abroad and moving between disciplines and looks forward to getting to know e-conversion graduate students during the discussion.

About Emiliano: Emiliano holds a W2 tenure-track professorship at the Physics Department in LMU Munich and is the academic lead of the Plasmonic and Photonic Chemistry Group. He is also a visiting researcher at the Chemistry Department, University College London, UK, and at the Physics Department, Imperial College London, UK.
