At this year’s Dies Academicus of the TU Munich on 4 December 2025, our e-conversion member, Prof. Jennifer Rupp, was awarded the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Medal, the university’s highest scientific honor.
An internationally leading expert in solid-state electrolytes and electrochemical energy storage, she researches novel chemical systems that could revolutionize batteries for electric vehicles and future mobile electronics. As spokesperson of the Cluster of Excellence e-conversion, she plays a key role in advancing research on sustainable energy storage technologies.
