We are pleased to announce that our e-conversion member, Prof. Jennifer Rupp, was recently accepted into the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. She will enrich the Technical Sciences Section with her outstanding specialist knowledge. The Leopoldina is known for its role in promoting science for the benefit of society. Including Prof. Rupp in the circle of honorees underlines her significant influence in her scientific field.

The Leopoldina brings together researchers with particular expertise in their respective fields. The academy’s approximately 1,600 members come from over 30 countries. The scientists are elected to the academy in a multi-stage selection process. The criteria for admission are outstanding academic achievements. The members actively participate in the work of the Leopoldina, for example, by contributing to statements and recommendations, as experts, or by taking part in events.
