Anneke Guhn (recruiting) and Dr. Michael Fischer (physicist) will talk to us about their careers at TNG and give us first-hand insights into their every-day job  and the application process for PhDs. We will get to know them personally and there will be plenty of time of open discussion. If you are interested to learn more about possible career pathways after a PhD in natural sciences, this is your perfect chance. We are happy to see you there.

The event is open for externals.

About Anneke Guhn: Anneke Guhn is part of the TNG recruiting team. She studied French language and business administration in Mannheim and then moved to Munich for her career start at TNG. She takes care of new applicants, beginning with the first contact until the first working days – including the application process and interviews, contract negotiations and onboarding. Additionally, she is active in the PR activities and the organization of the “Big Techday” – a TNG yearly conference.

About Michael Fischer: Michael Fischer studied physics at the TU Munich and worked at the Walther-Meissner Institute as a Ph.D. candidate in the field of quantum information processing involving superconducting circuits. During this time he gained first experience in software development and could start at TNG directly after his Ph.D. Currently, he is an IT consultant and is working on testing automatization for a TNG client.
