About the Conference
CSI 2024 is the latest in a series of topical international conferences on cluster-surface interactions. It provides a platform for scientific exchange and discussions on experimental and theoretical results on different aspects of clusters on surfaces. This year, a special focus will lie on:
- Energy conversion and storage
- Exotic fundamental properties of clusters
- Thermal catalysis on clusters
- Dynamics of clusters
The meeting will take place in the Hotel Seeblick in the picturesque town of Bernried just outside Munich. Bernried train station can be reached via local train from Munich central station in 40 minutes, from where it is another ~15 min walk to the hotel.
COSY Satellite Meeting
In addition, the conference hosts a satellite meeting of the COST Action CA21101 “COSY” on the last day.

Accommodation and Conference Fee
The scientific program and all meals will take place in Hotel Seeblick. By signing up to the conference, you agree to pay for your hotel room and the conference flat rate directly to the hotel upon departure. The total cost for a single room for three nights and three days of conference is €519.50 per person (single room including breakfast €98,50/night, conference flat rate including all meals €224,00).
