Get ready for: Escape from Carbonia! Our Escape Room is touring across Munich this summer – bringing the energy transition straight to you at street festivals, science fairs, and museums.
What to expect?
Challenging puzzles, cool experiments, real hands-on science – and loads of fun! In our interactive escape room, visitors dive into the world of renewable energy, take on challenges related to artificial photosynthesis, and discover how cutting-edge research is shaping a climate-neutral future.
Who is it for?
We recommend the experience for ages 14 and up, but families with younger children will also enjoy the fun! Escape from Carbonia is designed to make science engaging and accessible for everyone: tinker, explore, and be amazed – together.
Who’s behind it?
A creative team of students, PhDs, and staff from science management and communication at the Technical University of Munich, powered by the excellence cluster e-conversion! The project “Escape from Carbonia” is funded by Hochschulwettbewerbs 2025 from “Wissenschaft im Dialog”.
