The Italian Chemical Society (Società Chimica Italiana) awards e-conversion member Prof. Frank Neese (MPI für Kohlenforschung) with the Luigi Sacconi Medal 2021. He receives the award for his achievements in molecular theory and spectroscopy, which the Inorganic Division of the Italian Chemical Society (DCI) hereby recognizes as particularly relevant and outstanding.
DCI and the Luigi Sacconi Foundation award the Sacconi Medal annually to a scientist who has outstanding research achievements in Inorganic Chemistry. Frank Neese gave a lecture on „Deciphering Inorganic Chemistry Riddles through a Combination of Spectroscopy and Quantum Chemistry“ at the National Congress of the Italian Chemical Society 2021 in Milan.
