The TU München (TUM) started a special program to support and intensify cooperations of outstanding international scientists with TUM research groups: The Hans Fischer Senior Fellowship. Within the three years program the fellows will spend at least 9 month at Munich and receive a substantial financial support. One of the current fellows is Prof. Ib Chorkendorff from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The physicist is closely connected to our cluster, not only via research collaborations (e.g. Prof. Ulrich Heiz, Prof. Ian Sharp) but also as member of the e-conversion advisory board.
On 27-29 April 2022 Prof. Chorkendorff and his Munich colleagues organize a kick-off workshop at the TUM Institute of Advanced Science (IAS) in Garching. Here the scientists will present the progress that has been made in the groups working at DTU and TUM.
The workshop is entitled:
“Exchange of ideas – Orchestrating Light-Induced Molecular Transformation by Tuning Co-Catalyst Size and Dimension”
